Purge exclude lists.

Postby Salabim » Sat Jan 23, 2010 5:22 am

Hi,

It's been such a looooong time since we heard anything about Total Uninstall, is it still under development ?
Improvements still being done, are the suggestions still being looked at or even considered implementing ?

Anyway here's my little suggestion :

1) Purge button next to the Scanning Profile's Registry- and Folders- exclude lists, to be able to remove non-existing objects.

2) This one may be a tiny little more difficult but using string comparison it wouldn't be that hard to implement.
Make the Purge button also exclude duplicate items.

For example, when there are those 2 lines in the folder exclude window :

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\chrome

The 2nd one ain't needed because it's being consumed by the first one.

Any idea when we should see a new version please, or if we ever see one again ?

Thanks.

1. The "purge" of the lists is executed internally before scan or compare.
2. The lists can contain some locations that can be created later. Purging them and saving the result will not be good.
