Installing with Administrator rights

Installing with Administrator rights

Postby Prizm1 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 1:05 am

Sometimes I need to install a program with administrator rights (Run as Administrator). TU does not provide an option for Installing (running) a Monitored Program from the Browse button as Administrator. In this situation I select to Complete the Monitoring Process Later, run the installation file as Administrator, then restart TU to complete the monitoring of the installation. It would be great, though, if there were a Run as Administrator option from the Browse button file selection window instead.

Total Uninstall is running elevated (as admin). Every program launched by TU will inherit the admin elevation.
Run the monitored program from outside TU when you don't want to be launched with admin rights.
