Kaspersky problems/analyzing

I like the feature of this program which it will monitor before and after states of the registry. This is exactly what I'd do if I made an uninstaller program, but for programs that were installed before total uninstaller was (which includes all of them, since I just installed it the other day) Is it supposed to take 20 minutes or more for it to analyze a single program?

I open the program, and say I want to uninstall 3DMark03 (one of my programs I have installed) I click the program in my list and the progress bar proceeds very very slow, it takes about 20 minutes for it to analyze the whole program and know what every component of it is in the registry, and that's just for one of my installed programs. Do I have to do this for every one of my programs?

Edit: I've done a little bit of reading of this forum and I see that Kaspersky is causing the problem. I would uninstall the program, but I can't. I used Total Uninstaller 5 to uninstall the program yesterday, and it left pieces of the program still on my system. Kaspersky has a removal tool on their site, but that didn't work either. It tells me I don't have Kaspersky installed, even though I still have it in my sys tray and start menu. Neither add remove programs, nor revo uninstaller, nor Total Uninstaller shows it as installed. So, I'm awaiting a response from them on how to manually remove the program via the registry.

Also, it would really help if this program had a button menu option that said "Analyze all programs" rather than having to do it one program at a time. And, what I'd like is that after all pre-installed (before TU was installed) programs have been analyzed it will monitor anything else that goes on your system. Not have to pick and choose which programs it will do this with.

No, this is not OK. The typical analyze time is under one minute.
The main problem can be the antivirus. We know about Kaspersky 2010 that slow down the system very much (Outpost firewall also introduces a noticeable performance degradation). It appears that disabling the protection don't restore the computer performance. Only a uninstall or maybe another way to turn off some antivirus engine feature that hit the registry will fix the problem.
There are a lot of topics here about the speed problem, so I recommend you to browse through the topics from "General support" and "Using Monitored Applications Module" that from the point of view of the performance are valid in this case.

So what software is the problem at the moment, 3DMark03 or Kaspersky (what version exactly). Or you want deinstall both of them.

I had no problems with Kaspersky 2010 neither i have any now with Kaspersky 2011.
Maybe you've got some other anti-malware program running simultaneously ?
