I found several crashes when starting the pre-installation system snapshot on Windows 7 64-bit with v5.6.1 and v5.7.0.
Crash could not be reproduced on windows 7 32-bit.

Also sometimes there is a crash while starting the monitoring process with right-click on programm (I think, it is the same issue).

Meassage: Schwerwiegender Fehler (= fatal error)

After showing the message box I can continue with pre-snapshot. Everything seems to work....

This error doesn't appear to be originated from Total Uninstall. It could be a third party system hook that catches the user input (key press or mouse clicks). There are any such program that is running on your system? I'm thinking to a not so popular program as this is the first report.

You are right.
Seems to be 2BrightSparks SyncBackPro (here: version 5.8.7.23).
After stopping the program in tray no failures are shown on Windows 7 x64.

If I do not send any new information, problem seems to be solved.
