Installing software to a second drive (D:)

Postby rspratt » Sun Apr 27, 2008 12:36 pm

Hi there,
I've now installed and in the process of reviewing eleven 'uninstaller' software titles and I can honestly say that your product is (in my opinion), the best choice. It really does seem that you have considered everything - So, it is actually difficult for me to believe there could be an oversight with something so fundamentel.
The problem: Unorthodox maybe, but I install software onto a second drive (my D: drive) rather than the typical C:\program files\..... If I install an application through T.U there are no problems. However, when I uninstall an application, despite all seeming ok, when I look at my 'D:\program files\software title' folder, it remains! I have to manually delete the D: folder to complete the uninstallation, I find it hard to believe that T.U isn't doing this for me! Am I being stupid or does this oversight truly exist within T.U?
Oh! a little nag also, when I add a 'root group', could you please change T.U so the focus is then on the dialog box that pops up? Every time it gets me where I merrily start typing a name to realise I'm typing into thin air! :)
Thanks in advance for your response

1.Just add in the used scanning profile (Default) the d:\ drive to be scanned:
Options->Monitored Applications->Scanning Profiles->Default->System->Folders-Included Folders.

2.I will change the focus to the edit box, now the first control is focused (button for choosing the icon).
