The upgrade to Total Uninstall 5. Compatibility with version 3.x and 4.x.

1. Install the latest version of Total Uninstall 5

Install Total Uninstall 5 in its own folder. We recommend the default install location suggested by the setup program. Total Uninstall 5.x can coexist with any previous major version 4.x, 3.x or 2.x.

2. Import the monitored programs into version 5

To import Total Uninstall 3.x or 4.x log files (recorded installations) into Total Uninstall 5 you have to use the Import action from the main menu. This action is available in the "Monitored Programs" module.

3. Uninstall completely the old version

The old version can be uninstalled completely, including its program data. Keeping old version installed and using it will not affect in any way the new major version.
