When monitoring the install, does Total Uninstall compare file version numbers, file sizes, or hash #'s before and after the installation of a program?
There's always the chance that a program could install a system file with the same name but an older or different version than what's already installed. In theory. a MS Windows alert should pop up asking if you want to install an older version (and perhaps a different version) of a file, but these installs are so fast that one wonders if it's possible that a file could be missed - or the program install might have code that supercedes the windows alert and installs the file anyway.
