Custom File Manager

I appreciate that TU allows one to select a custom registry editor (under Tools > Options > Preferences > Registry Editor). This suggestion is to allow for custom file managers as well (e.g. XYplorer, Xplorer2, Directory Opus, etc.).

The latest release uses your default shell handler, i requested it here: open-with-users-default-file-handler-t625.html

Is this what you mean?

P.S. Thanks for implementing that Gavrila, it's much better and makes working with TU even more of a pleasure. :P

I don't know what you mean by "default shell handler". I use XYplorer with it set as the default Drive/Directory handler (where "Drive" and "Directory" are actual names referenced under HKCR in the registry), as detailed here. TU still opens Explorer.exe on my system.

Edit: Starting in XYplorer 8.90, it's possible to set XYplorer as the default file manager using the GUI. However this doesn't change what happens in the registry, and it still doesn't work with TU.

We're not talking about Directory Opus, we're talking about Total Uninstall.

I used to use Directory Opus but dumped it, and the functionality mentioned above does not work with XYplorer.
