Hi!

I installed a program called Driver Max by monitoring it's installation.
Entries are seen in both the Monitored Module and the Installed Module.
A few simple questions.....

1. When I want to uninstall the program, what is the correct method to do it?
Do the uninstall from just the Monitored Module or from the Installed Module,
or the other way around?
2. If I do the uninstall from one Module, will the entry disappear from the other Module?
3. I am able to delete the Log from the Monitored Module after uninstalling a program by
using the 'del' key but cannot do the same from the Installed Module.
Is this normal?

I am unable to understand the help file and so posted this here.
Many thanks in advance for any help in getting these doubts answered.

If you monitor an installation then use the "Monitored programs"module to uninstall it because is the best way to uninstall.
The "Installed programs" module list the programs registered as installed in the system. Once you uninstall the monitored program from the "Monitored programs" module the entry will disappear from the "Installed programs" module (maybe a refresh is necessary - F5).
If you uninstall a program from the "Installed programs" module the install log from the "Monitored programs" module is not affected.

Thank you for your quick reply, I feel reassured that I was going about it the right way.
But then this begs another question - when do you use the Installed module to uninstall?
For programs that were already in the computer prior to Total Uninstall being installed?
I ask this because some programs when 'monitored' lists entries in both the Modules
and some only in one module. And when do you use "Clean up"

I wish there is a good guide or a tutorial to go with this great product.
Please don't get me wrong,the help file is good for the basic stuff but judging by the questions
on this forum, appears to be insufficient.
But then that could be just me

There are many users that just want to uninstall a program. They don't bother to monitor anything.
The "Installed programs" module is designed for such users even the accuracy of the monitoring module can't be surpassed.
